Extension Foundation Virtual AI Convening: Preparing for What’s Next in AI for Cooperative Extension and Agricultural Research

The Extension Foundation AI team, in collaboration with partners from Land-Grant universities, is hosting a national discussion on how Cooperative Extension & Ag Innovation leadership should be responding to and preparing for AI. Many leaders are either apprehensive about AI or curious about its implications. Additionally, many Land-grant institutions have their own AI projects within their own states. This convening will explore how AI can be leveraged within Cooperative Extension to ensure institutions are not left behind, while also fostering engagement in the ExtensionBot initiative to expand institutional participation. This session will focus on opportunities and readiness rather than policy discussions.
