Ask an Expert
See expert answers to questions submitted from the public. A person can submit a question to Ask an Expert and get an answer from an extension expert nationally. Sign in with your eXtension ID to update your profile and settings and to share your expertise by answering or reassigning questions. Become Ask an Expert savvy by reviewing our tutorials and instructions.
A variety of courses can be found on eXtension’s Campus that provide professional development topics for Cooperative Extension faculty and staff as well as their public audiences. Campus is available to individuals from premium member institutions as a delivery tool of self-paced, certificate or even for-fee credit courses. eXtension Resources are composed and published to eXtension using Create which is eXtension’s Drupal content management system. Community groups in eXtension use Create to collaborate and publish articles to eXtension.
eXtension’s professional development site is open to everyone! More and more of eXtension’s learning opportunities are available to the public, and to Cooperative Extension faculty and staff. You’ll find a schedule of professional development and public webinars, recordings of previous eXtension webinars, and opportunities to interact with participants. eXtension’s account management system allows you to register with eXtension to access the internal side of all tools as well as find colleagues throughout the system and join community groups for the purposes of engaging with like minded individuals around topics that interest and support educational deliverables. In People, navigate to a community group and Join the group to become more involved. If you don’t find a group that matches your interests, start a new group and promote to peers to begin a new conversation.
