Publications

The Extension Foundation loves to help Cooperative Extension professionals tell their stories. In the last few years, our editors and content creators have partnered with Extension programs being served by our New Technologies for Ag Extension program and other Extension groups to produce digital publications and project reports. These publications share knowledge gained, best practices, and information about models that Extension professionals can replicate in their work. Topics include:

Climate and extreme weather
DEI
Engagement
Rural resiliency
Health and nutrition
Technology (hubs, portals, apps, using games in Extension education)

Publications can be viewed online or downloaded as a PDF. Each publication is also entered into the national Cooperative Extension System registry and shared in Connect, Extension Foundation’s online social media platform.

We achieve this through our nationally funded programs made possible by member dollars and cooperative agreements with federal agencies, and through partnering on state, regional, and national initiatives with Cooperative Extension and the Extension Committee on Organization and Policy (ECOP). We serve all Land Grant Universities, regardless of membership status.

The Extension Foundation is a nonprofit established by Extension Directors and Administrators nationwide. Extension Foundation is embedded in the U.S. Cooperative Extension System and serves on Extension Committee on Organization and Policy (ECOP).
