I am asking for advice on the best type of grass to plant in the central Indiana area (Fishers). We have a large dog and a young boy so the grass will need to be somewhat sturdy. Two types that I have found discussed online are Tall Fescue and Zoysia. I am also wondering how we can get our soil tested to make sure it has enough nutrients. We would like to begin seeding and fertilizing very soon during a warm spell to get on top of things. I welcome your advice. Best Regards, M.Kemper

I'm considering a Blue Gramma Grass cover for my front yard. Due to trees the yard does not have a lot of direct sunlight. How will this grass grow in that environment? Thanks, Mark Hood

We have a problem in our back yard with a ground cover some have called ground ivy or creeping charlie. It is a small broadleaf with some small purple flowers and it spreds yearly. I need to eliminate it if at all possible. Thanks,

How early do you fertilize Zoysia in upper S. C. How early do you use pre-emergence crabgrass killer.

I just relocated from Fl. to Chattanooga, TN. I need something for weeds, a good fertilizer, lime, and a good grass seed to over seed with in this area; and when to do each treatment. My husband always took care of the lawns, but I am now a widow and trying to learn. Your advise would be appreciated. Thank you.
