Where to start? I live in Lexington, Kentucky and am very interested in planting flowers for the very first time this spring! However, I know nothing. I need to find out info. on when to plant, what to plant, maintenance--basically everything. Best way for me to start from ground up--suggestions?

I have several hybrid Iris' that do not bloom. They are in good areas in my beds, I just can't understand why they do not bloom.

I am a novice at growing orchids. How can I tell when the plant needs to be placed in a larger container? What growing medium is best for orchids? What resource is best to learn about orchids? I currently have four plants.

My condo community in Lexington, Ky. is gathering knowledge or advice for landscaping projects to beautify our community. We sure could use advice on where to plant what! Even need knowledge on what grass seed works in different soils. Can anyone help?
